Experience the vibrant beauty of sunflower fields and engaging family farm activities in Waimanalo, Oʻahu. Local farms are offering unique experiences that cater to visitors of all ages.

 

At Waimānalo Country Farms, the 2026 Sunflower Spring and Summer Event is anticipated to open in June, pending weather and bloom conditions. Visitors can stroll through expansive sunflower fields, enjoy fresh-squeezed Nalo Made Lemonade, and savor farm-fresh cornbread. The farm operates on a first-come, first-served basis from Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Private picnics and after-hour photo sessions are available by reservation. For a delightful petting zoo experience, Nalo Keiki Paniolo offers "DA ZOO" visits throughout May. Located at DLT Ranch in Waimanalo, guests can interact with a variety of farm animals, including horses, cattle, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, ducks, and bunnies. The ranch provides a playground picnic area for children, making it an ideal outing for families. Entry is $15 per person, with children under 2 admitted free.
